There are no elected incumbents running for AZLD5 Rep. 

The former incumbents resigned in late February – one to run for Congress and one for personal reasons. There are four candidates now running for the two open seats. We need someone in the seat who will be a strong, hardworking and can navigate government, politics, and policy. I have a background that includes two degrees in public policy and 20+ years in government, politics, and the legal industry.

AZLD5 is critical to getting Dems out to vote. 

Legislative District 5 is a key, central Phoenix democratic district for AZ. We are a Democrat leaning district but will have Republican challenges in the general election. We will need every democrat to get out and vote in both the primary and general to help other swing districts and county and state-wide offices be competitive in November. I have decades of experience helping get democrats elected and know what it takes to win in AZ.

AZ is purple and needs to go blue for better policies.

We recently elected a democratic governor – the first time since 2003. And after 30+ years of Republican control in the Arizona Legislature, we are now in a position to flip control to Democrats. The legislature is currently 29 Democrats to 31 Republicans. I am not just running for my district; I am running to help elect more democrats in Arizona. Arizonans deserve better policies that work for them.
