I am running for office because our Arizona communities need more advocates. Our voices need to be heard and we need legislators who know how to navigate the process and support issues that impact our families and neighborhoods.

ADVOCATE FOR COMMUNITIES
Dorri understands that issues aren’t always black and white. She recently spent almost a year helping her neighborhood and school kids successfully overcome unsafe activities generated from a nearby detox facility. The facility received a special use permit to locate within a residential area and less than 1000 feet from an elementary school. Supporting the services the facility provided needed to be balanced with where the facility was located and the environment it was creating for the neighborhood. Dorri isn’t afraid to stand up for what is right. She believes that everyday citizens and community members deserve to be heard.

EXPERIENCED COMMUNICATOR
Dorri has been in communications throughout her entire career. She has a proven track record of helping businesses, organizations, and individuals communicate ideas and complex issues. She knows that listening, communication, and transparency are key to the successful advancement of any initiative.

GOVERNMENT KNOW HOW
Dorri has spent the last 20+ years in government, politics, and the legal sector learning to navigate the complex systems that establish and regulate the public services that our government provides. She knows from her experience that too often a gap exists between what is promised and what is implemented in our state and local communities. Understanding where and how breakdowns occur is key to managing expectations and getting things done.

As a former small business owner, Dorri knows the challenges small businesses face and is a strong supporter of promoting policies that help small businesses thrive as important economic engines within our communities.
